I asked Tuan and Carolyn what’s the most important selfish thing you want to do during your 7/15/17 at Westminster Rose Center.
(Of course, the non selfish thing is for everyone to have an awesome time.)
Tuan replied: While everyone is dancing, I’m want to spend some quiet minutes under the Bistro String lights (provided by Hilo Productions).
Carolyn replied: I just want the ceremony to go smooth and get through my vows while standing under the Gazebo covered with Dusty Rose Drapes. (provided by Hilo Productions
Every bride and groom has their selfish special need. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, be proud and OWN it!
During the ceremony, Carolyn let loose on her vows. She was smooth and very emotional. I stood on the side calmly watching her. Even though I was far away, I gave her the “Mr. Miyagi face of approval with a tight grin as Daniel was the All Valley Karate tournament” nod. When she finished. I telepathically told her ” Well done Carolyn….well done.” (I’m sure she heard me.)
While I was Djing, I caught a glimpse of the groom grabbing his jacket. I knew what he was up to. (Sneaky sneaky!) I ran up to him and gave him a bear hug. I told him his moment has come so please enjoy it. I escorted him to the door so he could soak up his warming string lights setup. Just hope he brought his cigar.
Brides and grooms please be selfish for a bit! (or a lot!) There’s room on the schedule to do something sweet for yourself.
