THE VILLA BY LIFETIME HUNTINGTON BEACH WEDDING DJ / WILL + JAMIE

Talk about entrances!  Goodness gracious!  The amount of detail and effort then went into this was up there with the WWE.    

Will and Jamie had their wedding at The Villa by Lifetime in Huntington Beach.    It was the big day and their entrance needed to be right.   When I say right, I mean clockwork right.   If not done right, all their hard work would be a waste of time. (bad pun) Not gon’ happen on my watch!  (another bad pun)  This was 7 person operation.

  1. Lighting Technician
  2. Video Technician
  3. Audio Technician (That would be me!)
  4. (3) Stage hands for setup/breakdown equipment on dance floor
  5. Lighting Girl (Basically she needed to turn down the lights)

We had to work as one.

They planned a very special trailer show for their guests before the grand entrance.   The lights came down.  Audiences were glued to their seats and focused on the screen.   This video consisted of Will + Jamie assembling the best bridal party ever “Avengers Style”!   I was giddy deep inside because I am a Marvel GEEK.  (Proud to say that!)   There were laughs and more laughs.   The trailer ended and within seconds TEAM “Will + Jamie” sprung into action.   The whole room transformed into flashing lights and every couple rapaged into their own entrance song.  Oh man!  They brought it.  They totally represented their boy and girl. (Will + Jamie)  Finally, Will + Jamie entered and were welcomed with a group bear hug from the bridal party.   The bridal party evenly dispersed which lead Will + Jamie to their first dance.   If you were in audience that night, your first thought was ” Oh yeah,  we’re staying till the end.   It’s going to be THAT KIND of party.”
